I started Tuig Technologies in 2010 to offer IT services to corporate and government clients. “Tuig” is an Irish word that means “to understand”, and that has been my focus from the beginning — to understand my clients’ needs, to communicate with clients in a clearly understandable, non-technical manner, and to provide high-value solutions that maximize my clients’ investment in their IT systems.
Since my first job selling computer hardware to business customers in 1996, I have steadily acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in a wide range of Information Technology fields. I have been a systems administrator, a programmer, and an independent IT consultant. I enjoy working with Linux and Open Source Software, networking, databases, and issues related to security and privacy. If you are looking for a consultant with a broad skill set and a knack for troubleshooting, feel free to get in touch — I’d love to discuss how I can help you with your IT challenges and opportunities.
